Quality Quality is Our Moto At Vital Produx, we believe a quality, natural food supplement begins in the soil. Before anything is grown or processed, we test the soil which must be free of additives and chemicals. Our quality standards demand that the soil, which nurtures our "raw materials," be rich in minerals and humus. Organic-farming techniques are utilized to maintain our quality standards. No chemical fertilizers or pesticides are used in the growing process. The foods that will become Vital Produx ingredients are rich in nutrients and micro-nutrients that act as synergists. For us, quality is an intricate part of every step. That is why we handle and control all our manufacturing processes, many of which are Vital Produx exclusives. To preserve the vital nutrients of our foods, we created, designed and engineered the low-temperature, high-vacuum methods. All product production – milling, mixing, tableting, capsuling and packaging – is accomplished under one roof in our facilities at either Clackamas, Oregon or Phoenix, Arizona. Vital Produx natural food supplements meet or exceed the most demanding quality standards. Quality Control For numerous years Vital Produx has been manufacturing quality whole food supplements. We continue this tradition with help from our Quality Control Laboratory. The Quality Control Laboratory is divided into two areas: bacteriology and chemistry. Before the manufacturing process begins, the Bacteriology Lab samples and tests all raw materials used in our whole food supplements. Tests are run after each production stage to ensure the product is safe from bacteriological contamination. All testing procedures are approved and recognized by the AOAC (Association of Analytical Chemists). The Bacteriology Lab runs as many as 400 samples a week on raw materials, product batches, and finished product. On average, a product is tested 6-8 times throughout the manufacturing process. Testing after each stage of production enables us to maintain critical control points in our processing to ensure quality and safety. Our Chemistry Lab performs assays on the vitamin and mineral contents of all raw materials and product batches. These assays, also AOAC approved, guarantee our label claims are accurate. Physical tests on the product are also performed after the tableting and capsuling process. Tablets are monitored for hardness, size and weight, whereas capsules are monitored for weight and moisture. Testing the weight of the product guarantees the label claims are met. Testing for hardness and moisture content ensures the tablet or capsule will remain intact throughout the packaging and shipping process. Disintegration tests are also run on tablets and capsules to make sure our products dissolve in a reasonable amount of time for the body to absorb the nutrients. Vital Produx takes great pride in its quality assurance program. Our team of microbiologists and chemists guarantee our customers receive the best quality product on the market today. Vital Produx Capsules Our capsules are made of gelatin, derived from animal sourced collagen. The capsule itself, is manufactured to result in a strictly kosher and pareve (i.e., not a meat and not a dairy product) gelatin product. Although capsules create a convenient means to deliver the food supplements into your system, it is not necessary to leave the product in the capsule if you prefer to take the product in the powder form. Vital Produx uses capsules made of natural coloring. During the capsuling process, computers monitor and measure the finished product by weight not volume. Vital Produx uses only three capsule sizes and measuring content by weight may give the appearance that some product capsules are not completely full.
